Fallout 4's Pip-Boy app can be 'hacked' to unlock five minigames, here's how

The official Pip-Boy app for Fallout 4 was released yesterday, and without the game there's not much you can do with it outslde of play around in demo mode and try one of the games. But what if you could unlock five of the Holotape minigames right now?
It's pretty easy, and this video will explain how:
I tried installing the file myself, and it unlocked the games with no fuss; the whole process really did only take a minute or two.
I caught up with DigiDNA's Gregorio to explain this process, which uses the company's iMazing program to install the file. I asked him what exactly was happening when one installs their file.
"We've tweaked the app's .plist file  (com.bethsoft.falloutcompanionapp.plist) following a hint by redditor RobertAPeterse," he explained. "We leveraged our app state backup / restore feature, exclusive to iMazing, to export a patched version of the app'sBACKED UP FILES (not the app itself, the associated data), which iMazing can then push to any device through a mini-restore process."
Proceed at your own risk, but Gregorio claims you have nothing to worry about.
"It's 100 percent safe, by the way: all that happens is that the application's associated data are overwritten via a restore process, and the device rebooted. Works on iOS 8 and 9," he told Polygon.
